Alvin Case
Filmed from early 2012 until weeks before his death in late 2015, this portrait of the american visionary artist Paul Laffoley follows the digressive course of Paul's thoughts from his earliest self-produced lectures and talks about his work to his preparation for the publication of the first monograph about his art. Using extensive 'fly on the wall' interviews and rare archival video footage, the film minimizes the use of talking heads and emotive statements, allowing the viewer to experience Paul Laffoley in his own words.
